It took me a long time to get comfortable with my short arm quilter and frame. I still am not completely good with it, but I just keep going, and for my generally utility quilts it does fine. Practice, practice, as they say!!

That is looking really great - and it'll be fantastic as an all over design too!

    How exciting!!

It looks fantastic for your first quilt on the LA! And I'm so glad to hear you and Rachel are going to class together. This is very exciting to see progress for a new LA quilter, looking forward to more!

I did curlicues all between the lines, took the quilt off the frame, and I see that the bobbin thread on the curlicues is all messed up. It's fine on the other rows.

I'm going to have to take it out.

    It's beautiful, Pam.

Is it harder to take out after the long arming? Sorry you're having to do it. Bring it here and I'll help.

Maybe I can go back and just do the curlicues between the rows to fill in some more. The rows should probably be closer together. I'm sure I'll learn my lessons as I do it.
Knowing how exquisite your quilts are that you make. I know you'll be making this first one look as if you've been long-arm quilting for years.
