I put my first quilt on the frame last night and just started quilting. The machine came with a couple of rolls of patterns so I picked the one with hearts on it. It is probably meant to be a border design, not an all-over one, but that's fine with me right now.

Maybe I can go back and just do the curlicues between the rows to fill in some more. The rows should probably be closer together. I'm sure I'll learn my lessons as I do it.

    Fantastic Pam!! Looks awesome.

Just wanted to be sure you're still coming tomorrow to The Cotton Patch? Remember to bring everything you'll need...except that mondo long arm - no room for it! I will get there right around one, so I'll hold you a spot at my table if I get there first. You do the same for me, okay? If Christie is there, ask here where I normally sit. She's the "leader" and most everyone has their typical places. Call me if you need anything!

Thank you all. I know that the quilt pattern calls out for something in the sashing and something in the blocks. I'm just not ready for that and this is a simple layer cake and jelly roll quilt that took just a few days to make so I'm not worried about it.

I was stuck for the last week and looking at what quilts I have and what was I going to do!?!? I finally decided that I just had to start doing something.

Yep, I'll be there and already told my boss that I'm leaving around lunch time tomorrow. I have my machine packed up, my DJ fabric and patterns, and the blue quilt pieces. Got my tools and thread, spare needles, pins and scissors and rotary cutter, pressing board, cutting board... I think I have everything.

Oh... what about snacks? I am just going to get something at the store, a tray of sweets or maybe a meat and cheese tray?
