Leave it just as it is and you will go back to it many times as your first. Sometimes my binding still looks like that.

I love it, and agree: leave it alone so years from now you can look back and see it, and know how far your skills have come!

Love your quilt and the colors are gorgeous. Personally, I would leave the binding in. It is, afterall, your first quilt.

Bindings have always seemed to be my downfall. Since I found this tutorial on Connecting Threads, I think my bindings have improved. So, I thought I would share it with you. I just took it really slow the first time with the directions written down, sitting in front of me. Sometimes I have to talk myself through things the first time. Hope this helps. :-D

It's fun to keep your first quilt for comparison down the road to see how much you have learned--that being said, you did an awsome job for a "first".

It is a special quilt, great colors. I agree with you and would re-do the binging. If you don't the quilt ghost will haunt you.

I love the quilt. You did a great job. I think the problem with the binding it it needed to be pinned better before you stitches. Either way it is your 1st quilt enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Nice job for your first quilt, nice bright colors.
Leave the binding it will be a treasure as you grow as a quilter.
