Great job and Buddy good work sniffing out mistakes I might need to borrow him someday. Oh you'll need to post pics of mom with her new quilt.

That's so funny Buddy is looking at the turned block! Why do animals feel the need to get on blocks and tops? My pup does the same thing LOL! Great looking quilt. Your mom is going to be thrilled.

Thanks everyone. I'm very excited about this quilt. I have to say, doing it with Eleanor Burns Log Cabin book made it very easy. I'm sure I'll be making more of them.

We didn't know it when we named Buddy that he would turn out to be 'everybody's little buddy'. He hasn't been very happy lately. He can't sit on my lap when I sew like he can when I'm on the computer. Maybe I'll sneek in making him a blankie. :-)

    Shelly

What a lovely gift for your Mum, she's sure to fall in love with it. I'm currently working on a quilt for my MIL for Christmas. I haven't tried the log cabin block yet!
Buddy is so cute & intelligent to point out your upside down block. It adds orginality to the quilt. Well done :D

How long did you train Buddy to find those silly mistakes?? It's really pretty and I love your color choices.
