You're off and running! Pretty quilts!
If I may make a suggestion: stripes (as in your stars in the top quilt) are hard to work with. You'll like them better if you see that the stripe runs the same direction on each point, i.e., all running the length of the point, or across the point. In fact, you can create some stunning effects by doing this.
