I think you are doing a fantastic job for as short of a time as you have been sewing/quilting. You will get better with experience but you are doing great.

what is the pattern for the quilt you did for your Mom? I just quilted a vintage top for a lady and this was the pattern. I called it a Pentagon 6-Pt Star for lack of a better name. That is definitely a hard one to do.
