Just started quilting and have a LOT to learn. I wanted to do some lightweight quilts to use on the pier at my parent's lake house. I decided to back them with terrycloth (boyish ones) and chenille (girly one) so that they would be kind of "towely". They ended up being perfect to cuddle a damp toddler in the porch swing.
