    I agree with your choice for the binding. I have a question- did you strip piece the Spools block or did you have to set that block in??
    I adore the old patterns and love hand-work also. But I don't know too many people who love doing the binding LOL :D
    I constructed the Spool block with set in seams just because I was learning this skill. I really need to practice more.
