    A few of my quilting friends and I made one from that book two years ago. By the time I was done with mine, I had renamed it the Quilt from H.. E...-double toothpicks! But I did get it finished and took the leftover pieces (LOL) and used part of them for backing. Attached is the top when finished before borders were added. Guess I never took a pic when totally done.

    Sandy -- great minds think alike: I had to redo one of the half sections of strips because they were so un-straight, so I worked part of that into the backing of mine
