    Thank you everyone for all your kind words
    I hope to have it sandwiched and into the quilting hoop before too much longer ( it's waiting for me to finish second top since they will share backing). This will be my first ever quilt that from start to finish will not have seen a machine. I think I like the slowing down.

    I agree they are VERY addicting! I am just shy of finishing the second top with 1" hexies, and have ordered the papers to start making Lucy Boston's Patchwork of The Crosses blocks. I expect the PoTC blocks to be a long term project, as I am hoping to gather fabrics for blocks during vacations and travels.
