    remember mctavishing is a freemotion thing and therefore what you did was fine.......she just presents a different way of "filling in spaces".........

    You did great! I just took a McTavishing workshop two weeks ago. I've been having fun doodling with it but I haven't tried it on my machine yet. I did frame my certificate which is proudly on display in my sewing room. Karen was SO nice as were all the teachers I had at the Machine Quilting Today show.

    You're too hard on yourself. Your quilting is really very nice. The McTavishing looks really good to me.

    i just got back from MQ today show im wisconsin and took karen mctavishes mctavishing class. i got my certificate! yours looks great. karen says to make it your own. She is very humble. i loved that about her! but really, you did fantastic!
