    That's really nice! I saw these at a quilt show this past weekend. One of the booths didn't cover the rope with fabric, but did dye the rope. I loved those as well. She even made a hat!

    I have been trying to make these but I have no luck in sewing them guess I will just keep trying. I love yours.

    Your bowl looks great!
    I find cotton clothesline rope in several places, ACO hardware, Joann Fab and online.
    It is easy, I've made several, I can see from your bowl pictured that you wrapped your closhesline nice and tight, this is important, if you don't you will end up with a floppy bowl.

    Very nice - I've wanted to try these too - can you give us an idea how long one such as the one you made would take? I'm sure there is a learning curve, but think they are great gifts too. Thank you!
