Now that I've tidied the place where I sew, I've had a bit of a play with Saffy (my Sapphire 875Q) and have finished the first of dozens of UFOs.
Now, it's not the most professional of quilts, and it's not the best I could do, but I'm little Miss Slapdash, and I just wanted to say I'd finished something. It started as a crib quilt, but it's really not very good so it might end up as a cat blanket lol.
As for the machine - I'm loving it. I'm sure I will learn a lot with it.

And whilst I'm at it, here are 2 more that need to be finished

This just needs to be quilted. I'm doing this by hand so it's not being heavily quilted - I must be into about year 10 of this one.

And I need to finish piecing this (from Judy Martin's log cabin book) - into about year 4. I'm hoping this will be the next one I get stuck into

Isn't finishing something just the best feeling?!!! I've been working on some of my (dozens, also) UFO's this year. Your work is great!! Love my Sapphire, too. It has such a big "harp." Linda in Missouri

Keep up the good work. They are great, I love them all. Finishing the UFO's sure feels good, doesn't it. Even better than starting them. I just don't understand why that is??? I just finished my oldest UFO. 29 years old. I never had a pattern for a "quilt" - just for some "blocks". Maybe that was why. You can check the details on my blog.
