Several NY forum quilters met yesterday in Waterloo! It was great fun--but more on that when the photos are posted. :-D I took some of these projects there for the "show and tell" part of our day... and I've posted some of the tops. But, I'm sticking to my rule: no more than five tops can be made without finishing...so here are the five quilted. The binding on the short bargellos isn't sewn on the back--but they go quickly and will be done today.

I decided on a floral log cabin to keep, but when taking photos, I've decided the bargello looks great on our table too, so I'll make another to match my kitchen!

Four of these projects will be for sale. I'm stock piling for a Nov craft show. It's not much of a pile yet because things keep selling! What a problem.

One for keeps, for now. I'll be making more. ;-)

short ones... I'm trying different florals to see what happens.

I never thought of using florals the way you do. Everything of yours that I have seen is so creative and beautiful. Wish you sold kits!

Karla I love your work and way with colors. I never bought floral fabric until you started posting your projects. I now am the proud owner of 6 different floral fabrics. (Just the fabrics--have no idea what to do with them yet!!)
Thanks for the inspiration. You do such beautiful pieces.

PS. You don't have to worry about the horses sitting on your table toppers like I do with my cats hahaha

Aww--I like being like your heart!
No animals can sit on quilted projects here! The dogs aren't even allowed in the quilting studio! They shed! Plus, if I sell things, I think they need to be free of dog hair .
