Flannel and Minky Baby Quilt/ Playing Tag
The Pattern is called Playing Tag, a free pattern found at allpeoplequilt.com. I used scraps from 2 other baby quilts.
The ribbons are sewn in super tight. First edge stitched before block assembly, next sewn into the seam allowance when piecing the block, and third time when quilting the quilt layers doing stitch in the ditch. I put a pocket on the back to hold books or toys. I've made this pattern several times because I like the size that allows me to quilt on my domestic machine. Parents have told me the size is perfect for tummy time, stroller and car rides and drag around! Super soft and cuddly.
