    Love it! Take me back to childhood when we had quilts for warmth and use! We had wool army blankets for batting back then, heavy but warm! I can see yours on a big soft chair with me under it reading a good book!! Comfy and cozy!!

    Thanks everyone. A similar quilt is displayed at Ma's Got a Notion in Havana, Illinois. The pattern is all theirs. After looking at it there for a couple of years, I finally got mine done.

    My sentiments exactly! And seeing your wonderful quilt has encouraged me to make a similar one from the flannels I collected long ago yet never got around to making. After the polar express of last year, I surely wish I had!!
