I have to tell you that Bargello quilts are not my favorite, but yours is the most beautiful I've seen! The floral fabrics really make this quilt.

It's much gentler than regular bargellos in the brights that most use (although I love those too!)and the effect is restful but also moving. |Didn't explain that very well! Anyway, I LOVE it! :-D
Thanks k3n! When I posted the color choices weeks ago, several thought there wasn't enough contrast to make it move, but whenever I added darker florals, I lost the spring/summer feel I wanted. So, I stuck to the original plan--well, the one that changed 10 times--and couldn't be happier. See: :-D :-D :-D :-D

Kayak on the Lake--I haven't looked at that one in a bit. My daughter claimed it and is moving into her own apartment next month--so that's where it'll be going.

Thank you. I think florals make every quilt, or batiks, or fall colors. I want to try the floral thing with some other patterns, I just need 30 hours in a day--like everyone else. I do have a week off coming.....

    As said before BEAUTIFUL.
Did you have to sew in tubes then cut or did you do this in strips?

    Thanks Gale

I love bargellos in florals and yours looks like a field of wild flowers tossed by a gentle breeze. Just gorgeous.

Why did you do 2 sleeves instead of one all the way across?
