    Made these blocks to use up floral charm packs last winter, with no real plan in mind.
    I think it's a bit bland, but suits that room which is cottagey with low ceiling and beams. The white border has self colour butterflies on.

    Katrine, That is another beautiful quilt you have made.

    Do you have a shop nearby for all your fabrics. Do you have a Group to stitch along with.

    No, Elle, unfortunately no shop nearby. There is a small quilt shop just over an hour from here, but the fabrics are approx 22 Euros/metre (swallow). There is a shop of a large fabric chain which has a patchwork counter - only about 150 or so bolts - ok for plains or odd purchase. So mostly buy on internet from UK. Wadding is brought over by visiting friends.
    No group nearby either so I am self taught from books & PC. Spoke to a group exhibiting once & was haughtily told "all our work is done by hand" & sniffed at - quilt police extraordinaire!
    So I enjoy this board so much & talking to like minded souls.
