Doll quilt, 17" by 24". I used a design to sew over for the top/pillow part, and fmq(ed) a "Flower Ball" on the other part. That design idea came from Leah Day's web site. Love that place for ideas!

I'm pretty sure a forum member is buying this doll quilt. But if she changes her mind, that's okay.

The first Fall Splash is together, finally! It didn't match up like I'd like, but sheesh, there are so many spots to keep track of. I'm going to sandwich and quilt tomorrow, hopefully. I'm going to do a matrix sort of design on it. I'd prefer swirls, but I stink at those.

Tomorrow I'll try to finish these up, then quilt the second horses in stable one.

Fall Splash--need to quilt it and work on the binding.

    Can you see the quilting?

design I used for the top part--I connected pieces.

Flower ball design. Back fits the theme! :-)

Very nice, all around. I especially like the "sparks" of orange in the green and green in the orange, it adds interest. Without that it would be very pretty, but bland, or predictable.

WOW You have been busy

For your quilting, do you leave the paper on top and then just stitch the design ?

Like the last one, the way the colors overlap

sharon--yes for the design you can see on the paper--I traced it onto thin paper for quilting, sewed on top of it, then ripped the paper off. I free motion quilted the other part.
