Your OBW is beautiful! I'm not sure what to look for in the original fabric in order to get one as beautiful as yours. The gold in your fabric adds an elegance to the quilt. Your placement of the hexagons is very artistic. Would you mind sharing the size of your triangles, or does it depend on the size of the original fabric flowers?

JudyMN -- I used the OBW book, and followed the instructions. I believe the triangles were cut off of 4" strips. The fabric has nothing to do with the with the size of the triangles. If fact I've heard to choose the most outrageous prints. I was disappointed before I got it put together, as I thought there was not enough contrast in the fabric. If I do another I will get a fabric with more lights and darks in it. The amazing thing is every block comes out different -- no 2 alike.
