    Default Flour/Feed Sack Quilt

My friend's mother, who lives in Illinois, sent her this fabric. But, she doesn't sew, hence, it came my way. I decided to make her mother a quilt with her own fabrics. The pattern is Fresh Tradition and is a free download. I did use my own "modern" blue fabric on it since I needed a solid. I used warm and natural batting and backed it with fleece. Wow....i really really like this one. While the blocks are "simple" - it makes a such great pattern....and your combination of the warm colored florals with the cool blue makes this just pop. The is sure to make her mom happy. Another pattern added to my wanna do list !!

PS....the quilt underneath is no slouch either !!!

That is a very refreshing looking quilt you have made with colors I usually do not go for. Love the pattern too.

Very pretty. These fabrics remind me of my Grandmother's aprons.

That is going to be one happy lady! I love the quilt and that pattern sets off the fabric.

Came out really nice. I am working on a baby quilt with a similar pattern.
