LOVE it!!! Were those actual feedsacks or is that reproduction prints? I made a pinwheel quilt this winter with 30's reproduction prints. Great minds think alike! :)

They are actual Flower sacks, which are more like a bastise. I am also making a scrappy feed sack quilt. It has 440 blocks. I have the blocks made, need to get working on them. I put the book in the mail to you yesterday, sent it media rate sso I'm not sure how long it will take.

I have a whole stack of feed sacks from the 40's and 50's that a very nice member here sent me. I'm trying to decide what material to pair them with. Since their weave is a bit larger, I want to put them with something that matches. Maybe some muslin? I really do love your quilt! The applique flowers and triangles on the edge are great!

Thank you again for sending the book. I'll let you know when it gets here!

I used muslin with the flower sack bc I wanted the lighter weight. For the Feed sacks bc is it a coursed weight, look at the Kona fabric. My DIL made on using the different shades of the natural and it turned out so beautiful. Made the quilt look aged.
