Both quilts are fantastic. Have never used fluffy batting but will give it a try too.

I love embroidery and 30’s material together. My favorite!

Both are super. Was the batting hard to work with? BrendaK

It wasn't with this quilt. I've adopted a new way to sandwich my quilts. I sandwich them like I'm ironing sheets together on the ironing board. I put the batting down with the top over it and press it smooth from the center out. Then I gently lift it and spray it with basting spray. Which works great because the overspray has no where to go but on the batting or the back of the fabric. Once the front is done, I turn it and do the back the same way. Then I pin it, just to be fully secure. Overkill I know but on my Juki2010, I do alot of pulling, turning and twisting. The puff does take up any slight gaps, I liked that.

The high loft batting really did make the quilt wonderful. Such a great childs quilt. Soft and fluffy is an added bonus. It will be greatly loved
