    Good work!! I just love your hooked on feathers and the nice companion quilting you put with it. I love the stained glass runner. The glass looks real.

    I got this same book several months ago. I read through and it seems like it would be fairly easy. I just need to take some time and actually practice. Did you practice with a pen/pencil before trying it on your machine?

    Yes a lot!!! But I had the book a week or so before I got my new machine. I think it's best to draw them until you're pleased with the shape, you're fairly consistent and can draw them fluently. When I went to a practice sandwich, they came fairly easily. Drawing really works IMHO!

    Thanks Omak - I get the heebie jeebies when I see those painted face weirdos!!! I thought all crickets wore little jackets and spats too! :mrgreen:

    And thanks so much Red - talking of glass, I hope the greenhouse is coming along! :-D

    Beautiful! Great job on the piecing and the quilting. I like the look of feathers, and will check this book out. Thanks for posting :thumbup:
