FMQ first queen size quilt on regular machine - WOW!
#118
I think you did and outstanding job. It looks good to me. Try not to be too critical of yourself. You notice the problems or mistakes you may have made more then anyone else would.
I have done FMQ'ing on a queen size quilt and it was the first quilt I ever made too so I understand how hard and frustrating it was.
But did I learn from the first one??? Of course not, I am now waiting for the rest of the material to be delivered for the second queen size I am going to make and quilt myself.
I do my own quilting because I could not afford to have someone else do it. Hopefully, now that I have a little more experience, it will be a little easier the second time. It is getting out of the middle of the quilt that is the hardest. But then you know that.

I think you did an outstanding job. Your quilt is absolutely lovely and no one will see a few bobbles, and if they do, so what? If you are an artist entering competition, perfection may be okay, but sometimes it is overrated. I love your quilt and I hope you and DH enjoy it for many years to come.
