    Thanks all of you for your kindness and words of encouragement!. Even though I've been telling myself all along "never again" you're beginning to make me think "well, maybe I could try one more time". You're all so convincing! I will continue to do smaller projects FMQ so maybe even that will help me improve. And to you beginners like me, maybe it can be done! Go for it!! :thumbup:

    You did a wonderful job. Can't even imagine tackling a queen size. I have problems with baby quilts.

    You did a wonderful job and came out with a beautiful quilt. But if you don't want to put that much quilt through the DSM again, try quilting in sections. This is NOT the same as quilt-as-you-go (QAYG), and although you do need to put some thought into how you are going to divide up the sections, for the most part you just piece your blocks and sew them together as you normally would. Marti Michel has a great book showing many different methods to use.
