I downloaded the pattern. I do better with tutorials though, so will see if You Tube has one on there.
    Thanks again.

They are gorgeous!! Maybe the fingers do hurt, but my gosh it looks like it's worth it. If I saw one in a store, I would want it.

I've never made them, but I did see them somewhere. But I must say, yours are beautiful and the addition of the ribbon just makes them even more spectacular.

Yours are very pretty! Thought about making them this summer but never got around to it. One girl I know sells them for $35 each and she has so many orders that you have to go on a waiting list of 5 mos.!!! But then you can get them for $8 on ebay. They sell better with dramatic bows on top like you did. :D

I made a lot of these last year for a fundraiser and discovered a lot of handy tips. I found that the inexpensive straight pins are hard to push in, I bought a tin of Iris Superfine pins and they pushed in like butter. If you have a hard time pushing the pins in, use the eraser end of a pencil, that helps save the fingers. I pressed the folds in the fabric first. That took a little time but the end results were worth it. These folded fabric ornaments sold for $35 each and we sold everyone. Many small gift shops will sell these on consignment during the holidays. Go in and ask!
