Could you tell me how you got your ribbon to curl. I tried using the edge of a pair of scissors but it didn't work. I don't mind the curling ribbon but I'm not much into bows.

    Hi Okie,

I bought those already assembled and curled at the dollar store. I had planned on trying to make some bows but I'm not real good at that so I was thrilled to find these already made up!

I'm off to the dollar store, I will post my Christmas ball when I get a bow on it. Nothing fancy but it was fun to make. Since it's so close to Christmas I may not find what I'm looking for but oh the thrill of the hunt.

    Okie,

Good Luck! I went back looking for more bows a few weeks ago but they were all gone. Hopefully they'll be around again next Christmas and I'll stock up. I finished 10 ornaments in total and I'd like to make more for next year.

I've done quite a few of these (did not do the ribbon at the top), as well as the pine cone ones done on an egg shape, which are similar but the tips are not pinned down and are made with a stiff ribbon. They actually are a little quicker to make. Will try to post a picture after I get home tomorrow.
