I got the quilt top done for my GD Payton for Christmas. She is the biggest Wizard of Oz fan.. So I know this will be her new favorite blankie.

Thanks ladies you are all so sweet!!!!!
Payton just turned 4 on her birthday, and of course she is going to be Dorothy for Halloween. Didn't surprise me one bit.

I'm working on a rag Wizard of Oz quilt for my 5 year old GD, Gillian, another super big fan of Wizard of Oz. When those two get together one will be Dorothy and the other is Glenda the Good Witch.

Payton is the blonde and Gillian is the brunette

    Awww, they're adorable!!!!

When my daughter was 5 or so, she was the Wicked Witch of the West... the Simplicity pattern version!! It took 6 yards of black taffeta to make that costume!! And it was gorgeous! And we found the ruby red slippers for her to wear and it was one of those things that you could hardly get her to take off!!
