My very best friend & quilting buddy is moving away. Another friend of ours & I decided to surprise her with a going away quilt. I made 1/2 & she made the other 1/2 of the star blocks then we got together to put the top together. I quilted it on my Gammill Premier Plus, then Charlotte took it and put the binding on it, brought it back to me & I made & put the label on and washed it. Start to finish...April 23-May22. Except for making the star blocks ahead of time, all was done from May 19-22. I think that is the fastest I ever quilted anything. Teri was very surprised and she loved it.

We made her a pillow case too to match the quilt...it's laying on the quilt in the group picture.
