Default Forget Me Not Quilt quilted by Becky

This is a quilt that I long arm quilted for a new client last week, the name of the pattern is Forget Me Not. She enlarged the pattern to make it a large queen, she is also a new quilter and did a fabulous job piecing this quilt. I freehanded the quilt with feathers, swirls and stippling. I delivered it yesterday to her husband and I sure hope she liked her quilt. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful! Did it come with scallops already cut on the border or did you cut them after the quilting?

She had them already cut, so I floated the top. I found it a little challenging but it all worked out. I told her if she ever scalloped again to trace them on before it is quilted so there is a guideline to stay in and cut them after it has been quilted, I was told that at a long arm class I took a few years ago. Don't know if I'm right but it makes sense.
