    Oh what a treasure - in so many ways. I do hope it brings good bids for your hospice fund. Hospice does such wonderful work for us all.

    My mother-in-law helped me make a Flower garden quilt in or about 1973. The backing we used didn't work very well. I still have the quilt top and it need to be refinished. After seeing this quilt, I will be remaking it soon. My Mother-in-law will soon be 101 yrs old, I can't wait till I have it finished again. It was all done in polyester fabrics.

    yes Maldon is near Loughton. It's famous for it's Thames Barges , Sea salt and it's where George Washington's grandfather is buried
