    I would also really like to know a bit about this quilt.

    Are you color blocks 4.5 inches finished (did you start with a 5 inch charm)?

    Did you sew black sashing or apply a black ribbon after the rows were sewn together?

    If sashing, did you use a 1 inch sash (to finish at 1/2 inch)? The sashing looks very, very narrow based on an assumed size of the blocks at 4.5 inches. This is really stunning.

    Really like your quilt, love all the bright colors and the black sashing really makes things pop.

    I cut the charms in half, sewed the pieces to the black sashing , I think that was 1 inch, not sure though I'D have to look. Then cut the half charm and sashing again, so. It is a 2.5 inch piece with sashing . Had I thought about that before, I might have reconsidered . For this I loved my June Taylor strip cutter.

    I worked the whole
    thing up in blocks, not rows.

    The fabrics are beautiful and so is the quilt - love the contrast between the bright colors and black.
