The purple quilt I just finished recently. I saw this spread in a magazine, a home not a quilt magazine and thought, that looks easy enough, got out my graph paper and started looking thru my stash and found the center fabric. Then had to search for that purple border.. It is more of a periwinkle I think.. Anyway, king size barely fit on my quilting machine but it is done.. You only see the bottom half here, top is same as the bottom. It is hanging over the railing on my porch... My pictures are a little fuzzy in these, sorry!

    Bottom half of the quilt..

I like both of them... Doess the first one have one large center piece of fabric? It seems like a good way to show off a much loved panel. I also love the geometry of the crossroads quilt. Thanks for sharing.... :D :D

Yes, the first one is just a large panel of fabric. I have had this one in my stash for ages and finding coordinates was a JOB! Thanks!
