First picture is of blocks for a quilt named Dimensions by Jinny Beyer. I had a naked corner in my living room. They are temporarily mounted with spray baste. It is a bit hard to make out, but they are actually in a corner.

Second one was my first Mariners Compass I made years ago. The center was very blah to me. When I was doing some kitchen redecorating, I ended up with this smiling sun and 3 more. I can't back up far enough in the bathroom to get everything in this picture. This new center is just what this Compass needed.

    i love your whimsey.

The quilt in the corner is wonderful and that face made the mariners compass come alive.

I love 3-D quilts and am planning on doing one, but too many others to get done first. Love the illusion on the wall, what a neat idea.

I love the 'Dimensions' - it's on my 'I would like to make one of those one day' list. Yours is lovely. The face fits perfectly on its quilt, too! Very cheery!
