Love your quilt - its very traditional with a modern twist in the way you offset the yellow inner border. I never would have thought of that and yet its very effective!

yes, I stared out with five inch squares. laid two facing, sewed the sides,etc. Billie Lauders fast four patch method I think. Not so fast to me. lots of sewing, cutting, pressing and sewing. but I did just over 300 of them!!
