    That is a nice scrappy quilt. I like the offset yellow border. So, you just so two side all the way around and cut though the middle both directions to get two 4-patch blocks??

    http://quiltingtutorials.com/all/scr...uilt-tutorial/ nope, just cut down the exact center. then lay out rectangles, dark on top of first one, light on top of one next to it, and so on. then sew those together. watch tutorial.

    I meant to say I wish i'd read the new American Patchwork and Quilting magazine before I quilted this thing. they had a quilt of small squares and had two different ways to quilt it. one simple and one lovely with some circles and feathers on the outside of the circle and curved lines in the squares done on all four sides, and more. Oh well, next one!
