skeat, yes the red and yellow fabrics both came from walmart. i just don't remember where the alphabet fabric came from. i somehow don't think it came from walmart. i should probably keep a journal that keeps track of where fabric came from. i am doing good to keep up my quilting journal and it doesn't have room to list all my fabric.

thanks for all the kind words. the baby shower was sunday night. mom -to- be seemed to like the quilt and her mom told me she loved it, too.
