    Practice and a good machine do help a lot. You can always put a credit card with the needle hole cut in over the feed dogs when your feed dogs do not go down. You should be very proud of how far you have come.

    Wow, huge improvement in four years....just practice. The first time I took free motion class, all I could do was laugh..cause I was SOOOOO bad. Now, not so much. Keep up the great work.
