    Clever you, to make a practice project!

    I usually make 12" muslin sandwiches or use pieces of scraps from the quilt fabric so I get the same feeling for the thickness, tension required, etc.

    So you had a fun project to 'warm up' for the big event, while I end up with a pile of scraps for the scrap-bag!

    Thanks for the great idea! Next project I'll 'sandwich in' (pun intended) a little warmup!
