Default Free Motion practice before tackling quilt

Before I start quilting my civil war quilt I posted the other day, I thought I had better practice my free motion as it's been months since I've done any and I've never been that great at it. So I decided to make a quick runner to help me practice.

Love the runner. Do you know the name of the fabric? My son loves birds and this would be great for him. BrendaK
