Thanks again for all of your very nice comments....
I've said this before - try a teflon sheet (sold for keeping your oven floor clean) - it works a treat and very cheap!!

You have to put the presser foot down, regardless of what else you do - it engages the tension mechanism.

This is beautiful. I,m still trying to conquer FMQ and it doesn't look anything like yours. Your stitches are so perfect. I do watch Leah's video's. She makes everything look so easy. Maybe it will just "happen" one of these days.

Very pretty stitches, I have FMQ lots and lots of quilts. Your speed and movements determine how your stitches look. Seems mine are more uneven then they were, have used three different machines over the years.
I have quilted mostly double/queen size quilts.

Thanks everyone for all of your kindness....I have to give alot of credit to my machine, and that Supreme Slider...as well as practice, practice, practice, practice.......As several have suggested, there are several things out there that are less expensive to use in place of the Slider as it is pricey, but it WORKS great!! Before, I was just FMQ'ing using just the bed of my machine/acrylic base, without anything else...Once I put the Slider down, and was able to move my fabric without any friction at all, made a HUGE difference in the quality of my FM....We all have different ways of doing things, our preferences, what we are comfortable with...This all works for me.....Happy FMW'ing!! :)
