    I have had the baby lock esante for a couple of years. With that machine just drop the feed dogs. It does free motion like a hot knife through butter. I have 3 other machines and this one beats them all hands down for doing free motion.

    The first quilt I free motioned on was an Elna with a 6 inch throat. My quilt was a queen size.
