    That is gorgeous. I made a French braid last year and want to make more. Selecting the fabric is the hardest part, and your aunt did a fantastic job of it.

    I took a 2 day workshop with Jane H. Miller, the author of the French Braid books. She lives in Fl, so I didn't have to travel, she came to our guild. it was a terrific experience. She's a very good teacher. I finished the workshop with one complete French Braid, and three more to go. And guess what? They are still sitting in my UFO box waiting for me to get that burst of energy we all know is what it takes to complete a "workshop" quilt. The braid I DID finish is beautiful, and all of the fabric is right there waiting to be started on again. Oh my ... deep sigh. So many quilts, so little time.
