Default French braid on a budget

My 4th quilt: Saw a u-tube video for this idea. Went to Wal-Mart and bought lots of sale & clearance fabric. Didn't want expensive fabric in case the "no purchased pattern" thing didn't go so well. Loved how easy this went together. Sent this quilt with dd to her apt. (college soon to be in session again).

The last photo makes me want to jump right into that bed and tuck the quilt around me. Very nice!

Great modern looking quilt for college. I used that pattern for a Christmas tablerunner that I did QAYG. It was easy and turned out nicely too.
