I happened to go to my LQS to look at their batiks. I am in the process of collecting batiks to make a French Braid quilt. Well, I found quite a few and they were on SALE :-D
Then when I got home my order from Craft Connection http://www.craftconn.com had arrived. I just ordered this fabric on Saturday so I am impressed with their service. They also included a 10% coupon for my next order and a package of needles (Betweens). I will be making a walker bag for my Mom out of this fabric and will use the rest as a focus (fussy cut) fabric for a future quilt or tablerunner.
All in all...a good day

My Mom has Alzheimers so everything to her is a surprise LOL (You have to find humor wherever you can. It's that or cry)
I have made her several walker bags because I like to indulge her and I like to change them (rotate) them frequently. In fact, I will be finishing one tomorrow out of a pretty Hoffman fabric I found. She is a hit where she lives. Everyone compliments her on her bags so they are conversation starters. There is so little she can do now, so my sister and I do all we can to give her good experiences. We take her out regularly for lunch, in fact, we went earlier today.

Several people on this board have made them. Check the search area for French Braid to see many others. They say they aren't difficult to make. I sure hope that is true
