I'd love a copy of the instructions too! What a beautiful star pattern.
    Thanks

OK - here goes with trying to upload the instructions for this here on the board. Let me know if you are experiencing any problems with this: if you PM me with your email address, I will send them out as attachments.

All the files are in MS word with the instructions as JPEG on each page. Just be aware that in Europe we have different paper sizes to you - we use A4 size. However, you should be able to resize the JPEGs to print out on whatever size paper you use.

I have been overwhelmed by the response to this! Thank you all for your kind comments and encouragement. I had never made a French Braid before, and to be honest, I had never heard of them, or seen one. Scanning other posts here, I have seen some beautiful examples of FB, but this star shape seems to be a bit unusual. I am so glad you like it, and hope that the instructions download OK.

That is beautiful. The colors and pattern are lovely. Don't see any mistakes here.

Thank you to everyone who has made such lovely comments about my French Braid. You are very kind.

Apologies to all for not getting back to you quickly - we have had some intermittent internet supply problems during this week, and I have had little or no internet connection for about 5 days: the disadvantages of living out in't middle of nowhere!

Update on the snow: we had a big thaw and most of the snow disappeared. We have had 4 snow-free days, but I understand from the Met Office that the snow is back over the weekend with a vengance: apparantly a White Christmas is on the agenda for us. Good job I have stocked up with those important little supplies. You know the kind of thing - thread, machine needles, toilet paper, bottles of wine, etc...

I hope that I have messaged all those that wanted the instructions for this. Please PM me if you haven't received them yet.

I won't be posting again until the new year, so Merry Christmas to all!!!

    Kind regards
