    It isn't that hard. you strip pieces for one side of the braid, then cut at the width needed and then sew that as a unit when building the braid.

    It's fabulous, Barb. In 2010, I made one very similar, i.e., the 4 rows of batiks with the wide & narrow dividers, but with the colors alternating in every other row; it is still just a top and pretty far down yet on my quilting to-do list.
