    Beautiful quilt... I like to tie some of my quilts. I usually tie 4 inch apart...

    What a pretty quilt in memory of your Puma. I'm sorry for your loss. As for your question about whether you need more stitching in addition to the SITD and ties, I don't think so. I'm no expert, so others may disagree, but do you have 2 inches between quilting lines? If so, I've read that it's sufficient and keeps your quilt puffy .

    i like those fabrics a lot a lot, and the ties are perfect with the fancy stitches.

    I'm so sorry for your loss of your beloved pet. The quilt you made in his memory is beautiful; I love the fabrics and the stitching and ties set it off beautifully.
