    I'm just getting ready to do some fabric boxes for Christmas. I will have to try the French seams as I hate tacking down the flaps afterwards. Thanks.

    I didn't like the flaps inside either so I serged the seam and cut off the excess. French seams are a little more finished, with same result.

    Oooohhh! Love the look of the french seams. So much better than those big, unyielding flaps.
